Are you hurting? Having a difficult time with relationships? Are you reading the workbook and feel that it’s overwhelming? Our counseling ministry is designed to coincide with our workbook process but customized for you specifically. We seek to tap into the deeper rooted issues to understand the “why” behind behavior, emotions and needs. Through the power of the Holy Spirit (the only True Counselor), we will assist in walking you through a self confrontation process to understand the events, trauma and relationship issues that drive your pain or difficult circumstances. We also seek to understand the improper coping mechanisms and unhealthy tools that you may have used to key in on the ways God can restore your heart, mind and life. We do this by assessing faulty belief systems, areas of shame and lies that have tainted your life, relationships and sense of identity. By finding those roots and replacing the lies with truth, you can be free to become the person God intended you to be.
Our counseling services are professional and led by a certified Christian counselor or therapist. Donation-based options are available to those who qualify through a financial application. We also require:
– The ability to test clean from drugs, alcohol and any mind-altering prescription medication
– The ability to attend weekly sessions and participate in homework assignments
– The ability to pay a fee or donation based on income
– The ability to fill our all necessary application and homework
If you are interested, please sign use the form below. We will follow up with you a few weeks before an opening becomes available! God’s blessings and grace to you as you pursue His perfect plans in your life!
I read some of the replies on the other page where someone said they were able to receive your counseling by webinars, workbooks etc. regarding codependency. I don’t live in your state but really need to get healing for this. (My husband and I are also adult children of alcoholics). Let me know how we could go through your process. Thank you
Hi Sarah – I apologize for how long it took me to reply! Yes, we do have counseling available. Here’s the link to apply. https://christiancodependence.org/counseling-services/
I’d like to find out if there are workshops available in Louisiana or Mississippi. If not I would like to know if you know of someone who follows your codependency program closer to me. I have already viewed the first 6 videos and purchased the workbook on amazon, but i’m not sure about proceeding with the inventory without assistance.
I am currently enrolled in the codependent workshop at my church in Stockton ca.. I would like to at more of your upcoming workshops and counseling sessions, problem is that I currently live in a homeless shelter and receive 0 income. Formerly addicted to herion and meth. Also alcoholic and adult child of alcoholics. Both parents and grandfather’s alcoholics. I have 7 plus months clean. I am also a grandmother mother, am 57 years old.
Please advise me as to how to proceed. I fairly new in Christ, but I do believe
Barbara – I’m terribly sorry your comment ended up in our SPAM. It’s way after the fact, I hope you were able to reach out to someone on our team. If not, please don’t hesitate to contact me at stephanie@newlifespiritrecovery.com
I am interested in the study via online or streaming fur the 14 weeks, do you still offer this?
Hi Eva – if you would please e-mail me at stephanie@newlifespiritrecovery.com I’ll see if I can get you going in the right direction! We have several different workshops online and also offer live workshops. I don’t have an online class scheduled for the immediate future, but we do have recordings.
Just mildly codependent but wondering if some support is necessary to get through this would love to talk to some one. Have your workbook but Am in rural Australia ?! Am searching out support locally hopefully will find something.
Welcome Penny! We love to work with people from Australia. If you fill out an application we will connect with you and can schedule a session to just learn more about your situation and see if you feel we are a match. If you can find someone locally that can work through the book with you, that’s great too. Whatever works best – it really is your choice! Prayers for you for peace and direction! – Stephanie
Hi Stephanie,
What is the best book to start with for a patient ?
Thank you,
Sean
Hi Sean – sorry for the delay – this message slipped into our SPAM. The best place to start is The Christian Codependence Recovery Workbook: From Surviving to Significance. I’ll be doing a training late this year or early next year. Blessings!
